oscar has now been part of our family for 2 weeks and has settled in so well. We've bought the 'sounds of life' CD that he was played when he was with the litter, so he continues to be totally chilled out with these sounds; though I can't imagine anything phasing him, as he takes every new thing so well! We've been taking him to the stables where he has met a range of ponies, horses and dogs and he is great with them all. He still can't understand why our cat, Jabba, doesn't want to bundle with him, but I guess a few swipes from Jabba will convince him. From the first day they were both happy to fall asleep near to each other so things are looking ok for the two of them sharing a home. Starting puppy school tonight, so looking forward to showing off how handsome our little fellow is to everyone and how well he Is already doing with sit, come, leave and heal! Just moved into his new crate, so he loves sneaking the odd sock into there for a nibble!

Posting this 30 hours after Oscar (13 week old black lab) joined our family. It's been amazing! He is adorable (as you would expect of any cute puppy I suppose) but what makes him so special is that nothing phases him! He's coped with our cat fantastically, plus all the sounds/sights of our home (washer, dryer, toddler neighbour, tractor is next field etc etc..). His 'sit' and 'leave' commands are great (goodness, I didn't realise how much stuff we leave lying on the floor!) and we are still working on the 'wee wee' command! He settled really well into his crate for the night and waited for his 'wee wee' till 5 the next morning when hubby dutifully dragged himself out of bed to let him out into the garden. All of his wonderful nature has to be down to the fantastic temperament of his parents, but mostly from his upbringing to the point he joined our family. Many Many thanks to Allison and the rest of the Rolyat family for giving him such a great start in life and for allowing one of your little treasures join our family. We will continue to love this little one (just as much as you have) for the rest of his life!!

Well, Alice has been home now for 4 days, and has been sleeping through for the past three nights.  She is a little cracker, so friendly with my visitors, loves the hoover, the lawnmower, no scardipants here, a real tough nut!.  Also great with my family's other dogs who have regularly popped in over the last few days.  All is well in our lives, thanks to the wonderful puppy pack that I received, and of course Alice.  But the greatest praise goes to Alison and Wayne, who welcomed me so openly into their lives and home.  I shall be eternally grateful to them for their encouragement and for my decision to bring this little dog into my world - a new purpose in my life.  My best love to you all at Roylats - I would not hesitate for one secong recommending you to anyone wanting a tip top pup!  Angie MIles xx

Thankyou both - we do try hard to ensure that all our puppies are exactly what their new owners are looking for. They are treasured from the moment of conception as you all know, and it is fantastic that we have so many wonderful friends, made purely through the lovely people we meet who want our dogs.  It is sad that we do sometimes have to say "No" to people, but then not everyone is suitable, however hard it sounds. But for those who are able to go the extra mile and walk the "Rolyat" walk - I feel its worth every ounce of effort.  Thankyou for giving our puppies such loving, caring homes who understand their needs as a dog. They are the lucky ones - we just pave the way and watch it all happen.

Much love to you all, Carla, Darren & Dallas, and Kelli, Steve, Aimee & Morris (who is certainly NOT so minor!) xxx

Hi Darren and Carla, yes I agree - we feel very fortunate that we found Alison, Wayne and Chris whilst looking for a breeder.  The whole experience was fantastic.  Their dogs and pups are so obviously loved and well cared for.  I also think the new owners meeting was a great idea. We are absolutely over the moon with Morris, he has brought so much to us.  I am really pleased to hear that Dallas has settled in so well with you as well.  Take care Kelli, Steve, Aimee and Morris xx

We finally brought Dallas home on May 15th, after visiting every weekend since he was born on March 20th. We were able to hold him from being 1 week old, and this must be the reason he has settled in so well, he is the perfect addition to our family, a total bundle of fun........and the ultimate eating machine, we should have named him Dyson, because he just hoovers everything up!!!!!!!

When we started looking for a breeder, I don't think we thought we would be so lucky, not only did we find a fantastic gorgeous dog, but three fantastic friends who welcomed us into their home.

So, a big thank you to Alison, Wayne and Chris for everything..........don't worry we will be back!!

Darren, Carla and Dallas. xx

After weeks and weeks of waiting and visiting Alison, Wayne and Chris every weekend we finally collected our little bundle of joy, Morris, on Monday.  He is absolutely gorgeous and we are all besotted with him.  He is a bundle of fun, such a handsome lad and a real character.  He settled immediately and we have had no sleepless nights!  He is already sitting and retrieving.  So thank you, you three, for our beautiful puppy, we can't wait to take him out for walks and show him off to everyone!  He is a treasured addition to our family.   Lots of love,  Kelli xx

I can honesty say we have had Rolo for over 2 years now. She settled in straight away and I really can not praise Alison and Wayne enough for all the work they put into rearing these pups. There are dog breeders and then there is Rolyat. When she had an upset tummy we rang for advice at 10pm one night, nothing was too much trouble. You are brilliant people and we would never get a dog from anywhere else.

Dear Alison,

After all the waiting and visiting I can honestly say we are so very grateful for our baby. He is wonderful and settled with no problems. No crying on his first night and the ideas you gave us on the paper training and then moving it outside have worked perfectly. I would recommend you to anyone. Your place is fantastic. Thankyou again so very much.

Dear Alison, Wayne & Chris,

Thankyou so much for letting us have Sam, he's fantastic - and just like you said LOVES to play in the stream. He loves teasing the cat but she lets him know when she's enough and swats him with her paw.  Looking forwards to you seeing him again early in the new year,

Love Julie & Mick. x
